The Telecine Plug-In uses the standard "3:2 pull-down" method, used in Telecine machines that convert film to video. It converts animation drawn at 24 frames per second to 30 frames so it can be recorded onto videotape and still play smoothly at the correct speed. This looks much better than the way Adobe Premiere would do it. It also saves the animator from having to learn to animate at 30 fps AND reduces the number of drawings by 25% as well.
